From mile after miles of amazing beaches to museums, world class shopping, fine dining and luxury beach resorts, the Palm Beaches of Florida rank as one of the best destinations for travel in the world. Coconut Club Vacations invites you to come with us as we take a closer look at the region and what makes it so special.
Encompassing over 47 miles of beaches in Palm Beach County, the “palm beaches” as they have come to be known include a number of Florida’s most popular communities including West Palm Beach, Boca Raton, Jupiter and Delray. In terms of European settlement, the first non-Native American settlement is believed to have been an Army Fort built in Jupiter in 1838. From here the construction of the Railway, and development of nearby communities further spurned the growth of the region. Today, tourism ranks as one of the top 3 industries in the region providing over 53,000 jobs and hundreds of millions of revenue each year thanks to the over 2 million annual vacationers that head to the Palm Beaches each year.
Sports, theaters, museums, gardens, parks and world class attractions make it easy to understand why so many visit this popular resort destination. Factor in the fantastic year round weather averaging around 78 degrees, the cultural attractions, the over 170 golf courses and the over 2,000 restaurants and you will be hard pressed to have anything but an amazing time in the Palm Beaches.
